Visual development
At Warner Bros. I worked as a visual development artist designing environments, orthographics, Props, textures, FX, character lighting, background painting, and some color styling.
Below are sets that I have designed, built in 3D, and painted.

This was an early shot and although we had built models for this, the early techniques used to add the "Mobius lines" was not effective for distant buildings. So I was tasked with drawing a majority of this scene by hand.

These shots of Butchers block prison had multiple lighting requirements; all lights on, flashlight only, door open, taser flash, and all off (excluded here because it's boring)

For this I built a cockpit and set up lights for the interior for multiple angles. Note outside lighting to be done later.

These were sets handed off to me for paint and lighting.

Prop designs built in 3D for various characters. Note the change in requirements needed or not needed for vendor studio regarding Ortho views and light info.
Some props have callouts for various mechanics / movements.

Some final prop colors.

A few of the interesting things I was tasked with.

Some early concepts used to get the style approved.

Early prop designs to help figure out mobius lines, watercolor look, and design of props.
